Welcome to my world of art. My name is Ali Haynes, and my journey as an artist has been anything but conventional. My initial exploration into creativity began at Plymouth College of Art and Design, where I immersed myself in the fundamentals of Fine Art. I then expanded my skill set at Swindon College’s Oxford Brooks department, focusing on illustration, a medium that allows me to blend my passion for the world around me with visual expression.
Before fully embracing my artistic identity, I navigated a career in recruitment and project management. This experience taught me the art of organisation and the importance of nurturing others' talents and delegating tasks to those with the best ability to skill set. Yet, despite my success in managing the intricacies of projects and people, I often grappled with imposter syndrome when it came to my own artistic pursuits.
The turning point came in January 2022 when I took a leap of faith and opened The Corsham Gallery. This venture not only provided a platform for my work but also allowed me to cultivate a vibrant community of artists and art enthusiasts. With the gallery as my foundation, I have been fortunate to witness my art career blossom, earning multiple awards and recognition along the way.
